Malware Redirects Google Text Ads
It appears that there is a form of malware out there now that is redirecting the text ads placed on sites by Google. Google’s Adsense advertising program is popular with web developers as a way of monetizing the traffic to their websites. It works in a way that the ads provided by Google are placed on the developer’s website and when clicked on the developer gets paid a certain amount of money. The malware redirects the shopper from the ad to a more sinister site. Another thing for the web developer and consumer to watch out for.
