No Ringing Endorsement For Dell Computers
Crystal and Raymond Collette had no idea what they were getting into in July of 2005 when they bought their brand new computer home. In a 50+ million dollar lawsuit against Dell, the Collette’s claim the following happened.
- The original computer was defective, they received four different replacement computers from Dell and claim that all of them were defective.
- Now when they call the Dell technical support number they are forwarded to the Dell legal department.
- The outsourced tech support representative they had been working on began sending them offensive emails and that agents of Dell began calling her at all hours of the night.
Chances of winning? Probably not great, but they may get a settlement if Dell just wants this case to stay out of the newspapers.
