Many state and federal employees received emails said to contain a video of the recent lunar eclipse. When the email was opened, instead what they received was another dreaded computer virus.

There are reminders every day to people to only open emails with attachments when they know exactly who they are from. This doesn’t seem to stop people from ignoring that advice. Be sure you know who an email is from before you open any attachment, visit any linked site, or download anything associated with an email sent to you. Common sense and basic knowledge can prevent you from being a victim to either an online scammer or a computer virus.
